The Blind Club were asked to document the performance of Dog Is Dead playing to their home town fans at the Nottingham music festival, Splendour. Playing in front of a packed out crowd, it was a special event in the band’s quickly-accelerating career.
Sending 6 cameras along with an equal number of operators, the film produced is an interesting blend of TV broadcast-style festival coverage and The Blind Club’s own organic approach. The cameras on-stage show no fear and get right up close with the performers, giving the viewer some extraordinary insights into the point of view of the band members.
